Street Team Associate- THE COLONY

Location: The Colony, TX

Position Qualifier

A part time Andretti Street Team Associate is responsible for delivering the Andretti brand to all guest at any Marketing events, anticipating guest questions, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

Direct Report: Marketing Leader

Indirect Report: Executive Concept Leader

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spreading brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing techniques
  • Distributing posters, stickers, and flyers throughout their communities
  • Convincing consumers to visit location
  • Offering exclusive giveaways, promotions, or trials of a companyís product
  • Care for all product and tools with the highest degree of attention
  • Work both on and off-site events (i.e. special events, sports tournaments, partner appearances, festivals, etc.) in an effort to promote the Andretti Brand.
  • Responsible for installation set-up, operation and breakdown of all interactive elements of mobile marketing vehicle at scheduled events.
  • Responsible for all operational needs and activation of the following elements while at events representing the Andretti Brand - handout premium items, facilitate on-site promotions, interact with fans and communicate general information.
  • Make sure vehicles are fully stocked with necessary items for each event and ensure vehicles are always kept clean.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of the mobile unit.
  • Ensure professionalism, exception communication and proactive interactions with guest.
  • Assist Marketing Department in researching new events to attend.
  • Responsible for completing post-event wrap-up forms after every event.
  • Assist with other tasks on an as-needed basis
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment
  • Hard working, detail oriented and results driven
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to be a team player and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Guest-service oriented

 

Requirements:

Guest service experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driverís license and a good driving record
  • Comfortable driving or assisting with cars, vans and small trucks
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work evenings, nights/weekends and holidays as required
  • Requires prolonged standing; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and changing temperatures.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Comfortable with repetitive motions and speech
  • High degree of professionalism
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed
  • Maintain safety standards
  • Gregarious, upbeat and friendly personality
