Food Runner- KATY

Department: Culinary Department
Location: Katy, TX
  • Delivers food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
  • Ensure proper plate quality before food items are delivered to guest
  • Communicate food orders to chefs paying attention to any special needs ie food allergies
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleaning and restocking outside expo
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant and bar table and seating numbers
  • Great attention to detail skills
  • Proper disposal of broken glassware
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance to local health regulations
  • Anticipates and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned
  • Proper uniform according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games guidelines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and eagerness to learn new skills

Prior guest service experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to carry large trays of food and beverages.

  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed.
