Andretti Mascot - SAN ANTONIO

Location: San Antonio, TX

A part-time Andretti Mario Tron Associate will provide a fun and exciting atmosphere to all guest in a themed racing costume. The Mario Tron will focus on engaging with guests by creating interactive and memorable experiences, all while wearing Andretti's mascot robot costume. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

  • Interact and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Must be very outgoing and/or able to hold conversations with current & potential guests.
  • Work well with children of all ages and personalities.
  • Assist with special events such as birthday parties and outside public engagements
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the robot costume ensure it is kept in good shape and stored away properly.
  • Work in collaboration with the Marketing Department to represent the brand accurately and effectively.
  • Attends any required external marketing events which may require local travel.

Prior guest service experience is preferred and certain skill sets may be required depending on position. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   • Project an outgoing, positive personality as well as spontaneity when interacting with others.
  • Walk or stand in full costume for long durations at a time.
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Must have a slender body type, due to costume limitations.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Comfortable with interior and exterior work including temperature changes.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Maintain safety standards at all times.
