An Andretti Bartender is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere with food and drinks. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

  • Greet and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Greet Guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding Guests expectations.
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present.
  • Prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks, pour wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste.
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operates the Point of Sale system with ease.
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables.
  • Order and maintains liquor and bar supplies, display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  • Properly disposes of broken glassware.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance to local health regulations.
  • Sufficiently handles and accurately counts money.
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol.
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assists with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests' needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to proper uniform according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games guidelines.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills and systems.

1+ years prior bartender experience is preferred. Valid Pouring License is required (pending location). The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed.
  • Maintain safety standards at all times.
  • Good memory, listening skills.
